FREE Computer Support and Service is available to:
- Currently enrolled students at the University of Miami
- Alumni are eligible for some services for 60 days following graduation.
FREE FAX Service is available to:
- Currently enrolled students
- Faculty
- Staff
- Alumni
- Exchange students
Additional Requirements for service to be performed:
- Customer must present a CaneCard
- Customer must sign a Service Waiver form for Drop-Off services.
- Customer must provide the following:
- AC Adapter
- All necessary cables
- If customer requires configuration of CaneNet_Wireless or CaneNet wired network, the owner of the system must be present.
- Supported Operating Systems are:
- macOS 12 or higher
- Windows 10 or higher
- In order to pick up a computer that has been dropped off, the user must bring a picture ID to verify their identity. Accepted forms of identification are:
- CaneCard
- State-issued Driver's license or ID card
- Government-issued ID or Passport
