FREE Computer Support and Serivice is available to :
- Currently enrolled students of the University of Miami
- Alumni are eligible for service until July 31st of the following graduating year.
FREE FAX Service is available to :
- Currently enrolled students
- Faculty
- Staff
- Alumni
- Exchange Students
Additional Requirements for service to be performed :
- Customer must present a CaneCard
- Customer must sign the Service Waiver form.
- Customer must provide the following:
- AC Adapter
- CD/DVD-Rom Drive (if required)
- All necessary cables and system CD's
- If customer requires configuration of SecureCanes wireless or CaneNet network the owner of the system must be present.
- Supported Operating Systems are:
- Apple OSX 10.6 or higher
- Windows 8.x, Windows 7, and Windows 10
- (Gables Only) In order to pick up a computer that has been dropped off, the user must bring a picture ID to verify their identity. Accepted forms of identification are:
- Cane Card
- State issues Driver's license or ID card
- Government issued ID or Passport
